通过匹配的阻抗接头，TE Connectivity （TE） 解决了拆卸和更换损坏的 RG-393 同轴电缆的成本高昂的问题。接头不仅可以快速、轻松地就地修复电缆，还可以保持特性阻抗和其他电气特性。系统性能为 不受维修影响。拆卸和更换损坏的同轴电缆可能既费时又昂贵。匹配的阻抗接头能够在不拆除电缆的情况下应用，可以显着加快维修速度，从而节省时间和成本。
接头包含三个组件：用于中心导体的六角形压接筒、有助于保持电缆几何形状以控制阻抗的介电外壳，以及端接电缆屏蔽层并提供密封以保护接头环境的屏蔽层接头。
阻焊层接头在衬有粘合剂的热缩套管内使用助焊剂涂层、焊料浸渍的铜屏蔽层。完成的组件提供了环境密封的端接和应力消除。
