This specification establishes the performance, design, and test requirements for Standby Altimeters Types I and II. These altimeters are counter pointer integrally lighted with 2-inch dial for display of pressure-altitude for the range of -1,000 to 50,000 feet or -1,000 to 70,000 feet as applicable to type. The altimeter utilized an electrical output which varies as a function of the barometric pressure setting. |
