旁路电容对于大多数应用来说,一个最小33uF,低ESR(0.5-2欧姆)的钽电容应该尽可能靠近稳压器的输出。这将有效地降低稳压器的输出阻抗,增加瞬态响应,并消除通常与低压差稳压器相关的任何振荡。额外的旁路电容器可以用于远程负载位置,以进一步改善调节。这些可以是钽或电解的变种。除非稳压器非常靠近电源滤波器电容,否则稳压器的输入端还应该添加一个4.7uF的最低ESR(0.5-2欧姆)钽电容。如果需要,电解液也可以被取代。当用电解电容器代替钽电容器时。
一个很好的经验法则是将电解液的尺寸增加到钽值的10倍以上负载调整率为了最好的结果,接地引脚应该直接连接到负载如下所示,这有效地减少了接地环效应,并消除在意义上的过电压降。同样重要的是保持稳压器和负载之间的输出连接尽可能短,因为这直接影响负载调节。例如,如果使用20规线,其电阻约为每英尺0.008欧姆,这将导致在1安培负载电流下降8mV/ft。为了获得最佳的性能,遵循电容器选择准则也很重要。连接图见图2。
